We promote social transformation in communities at risk of exclusion by regenerating public sports spaces and involving the community through art.
SPORT AND ART FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
The project:
The project was brought to life at the University of Mondragon, Basque Country, by a group of students of entrepreneurship and innovation who wanted to use their knowledge to generate a positive impact on society. We began operating under the name "Berpiztu", meaning "to be reborn" in Basque and completed our first two basketball courts with this identity. After an extensive rebranding and expansion period in 2020, we adopted our current name and image. We became Jump The Line Project. Today, we have grown beyond the university and have a multicultural team in several cities in Spain.

Si tu también quieres formar parte del equipo, ¡apúntate como voluntario! Te avisaremos cuando hagamos un proyecto en tu ciudad para que puedas venir a pintar.
PARTICIPATORY ART
Art can change the way we relate to space. Participatory art is a way of involving the community in the different phases of our interventions so that the end users of the space feel they own it.
In addition, we work with local artists to ensure that the designs authentically represent the community.

SPORT WITH SOCIAL IMPACT
The aim of transforming sports spaces is to give the community an environment that encourages social interaction in a positive way. Thus, through sport, bonds are formed that contribute to the personal and social development of each individual and the community in general.
